I will hold off on posting until you finalize your decision, as I definitely don't want to rush things here.

I have Riejar and Feeder hiding out with the animals, intending to take the orcs from behind once the battle commences. Samson and Furgus are trying to decide
whether they should simply meet the orcs head-on in the hallway beside the gong (shouting in Orc and Common as though there is a battle taking place, from what
I can tell) or hide in the side corridors and strike with surprise.

Will post tomorrow night. Unless I see otherwise, I'm presuming that Riejar and Feeder will attack from the rear after the orcs engage both Samson and
Feeder, who will not be trying to hide as they stand ready in the middle of the passage. Poria will back them up as will Wakandah.
Let me know of any other 'buff' type spells you'll be using before the orcs arrive.

Durn it, I only started working on the post (and the freakin' battle map!) last night, and didn't get anywhere near finished. I've got Dark Knight
on the agenda tonight, but I will surely finish the post this weekend.
In the meantime, let me make sure I've got your strategy correct, and give you a couple more days to make any more decisions with regards to spells and such. Samson casts Protection from Evil on Furgus, and Bless on the group after Furgus sounds the gong. Samson and Furgus then move into the 'side' passages, but only just barely until the orcs get in 'charge' range. Once the lead orcs do so, they 'charge' into battle, presumably bottlenecking the orcs in the north/south passage so they don't get surrounded. Poria and Wakandah will remain behind the warriors, presumably in order to use magic, healing and ranged weapons at need. Meanwhile, Furgus and Feeder are in the 'animal pen' outside the cavern, and will attack the orcs from the rear once they've engaged Samson and Furgus. Does this sound about right? Just want to make sure, since that's what I'm going with in arraying your forces on the battlemap. Good luck! It should be a fight for the ages.

Sounds good for my part. I'll save the rest of my spells for emergency healing and until we face Kersux. I don't think the leader will be charging in
first.
This tall muscular man has thick golden hair and a beard of matching color. He wears a breastplate of fine
craftsmanship with a spiked gauntlet on his right hand. He carries a greatsword and a maul on his back. Samson Astirel, servant of Kord.

looks good to me
Wakandah Tregar
A short lush, curvy chocolate toned, dark skin woman, with silky black straight hair full bodied, flowing down to her waist in the back stands before you. Her eys are a deep blue as they look at you. her torso is unclothed for the most part, yet she wears a wispy vest, a leather side split, short above her knees skirt, leather boots, and carries a satchel over her shoulder. On her belt you see a small pouch, and she carries a quarterstaff in one hand, and a light crossbow hangs at her side off of her belt. |

Just a heads-up, with a couple short vacations coming up, as well as some RL commitments keeping me busy, my posting will be very sporadic and far between
until the end of August. After that I should be back to my usual schedule.
Thanks! GM West

Furgus,
I'm at work, with no rulebook in front of me, but if I recall correctly you can indeed move 5' between attacks whether you have Spring Attack or not. Actually, I think Spring Attack has no effect on the current situation, but if I'm remembering right you can always take a 5' step between attacks, whether because of >+6 BAB or when using two-handed fighting. Now, I don't think you can 5' step between 'Cleave' attacks, at least not until you get the Great Cleave feat, which I believe allows you to do exactly that. I'll double-check before I make my post for your action (maybe tonight, but no promises...

I'm back from vacation, but with the kid's school coming up and a sick toddler at home my posting time (and energy level) is scarce. I spent tonight
catching up my PCs, my adventures will follow this week. I promise something by the weekend for certain, but I'm thinking I won't be up to my usual
posting levels until the beginning of September, once I've gotten back into a rhythm again.
Sorry for the dreadful slowness. It won't last, I promise.
